CRYSTAL MERTZ's Bio

Crystal Mertz played all 4 years of high school volleyball and ran hurdles for the track team during her freshman and sophomore high school years.  Her senior year of high school brought about a knee surgery which led to her having to give up competitive sports.  She does, however, still play volleyball and kickball in local recreational leagues.

Crystal graduated from Southwest Missouri State University (now known as Missouri State University) with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Leisure Studies with a minor in Business.  She works as the Scheduler for Turn 2.  Crystal states that her most rewarding experience she has had is in planning a benefit for a friend’s son that has a very rare disease.  She explains that reaching out and helping someone that means so much to her and others that she has never met is a truly amazing feeling.  Even though it was more work that she thought it would be, she shares that it was worth every minute of it.
